At Refuge Church, we believe that Worship is our response to God, personally and corporately, for who He is and for the great things that He has done! We desire to worship God personally by living lives that are pleasing to God (Romans 12:1), by reading and meditating upon, His Word, and through constant prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
One of the main ways that we worship corporately is through music. This happens during our Gatherings every Sunday morning in the Auditoruim. Although music is not worship in and of itself, it is commanded by God, demonstrated throughout the Bible (Psalm 95:1, Psalm 96:2, Psalm 98:4, Psalm 105:2, I Chronicles 15-16, Ephesians 5:19-20), and is a powerful way to approach God.
